Instrument Rental Contract
Thank you for choosing Frost Gully Violins for your instrument rental. Here at Frost Gully Violins we believe in providing quality rental violins, violas and cellos at a reasonable price.
FEE STRUCTURE: *Rental Fees: Cello Annual Rental Fee: $370 | Viola Annual Rental Fee: $350.00 | Violin Annual Rental Fee: $340.00 All fees must be paid in advance of the rental period. This is a one-year non-refundable contract. We accept check, credit card or cash payments.
REPAIRS: Repairs and adjustments to the instrument made necessary by normal use will be performed at no charge to the customer. The customer agrees to inform FGV of any damage promptly when noticed. Should any repair be required, simply return the instrument to FGV. All repairs must be made by FGV. Costs due to damage by neglect will be split between FGV and the renter. The renter agrees to bear the replacement costs of lost, stolen or badly damaged instruments.
INSURANCE: The above mentioned incidental repair costs are covered by our shop insurance, thus eliminating an extra charge to the renter. We trust that you will care for this instrument and follow our recommendations on care and storage. Renters can often include their rental instrument under their home owners/renters insurance. Please contact your insurance agent for more information.

EQUITY: If you wish to purchase a rental instrument from FGV, you may apply 100% of each year's rental fee towards the purchase price. Rental outfits are not available for purchase. However, there is no limit to the duration of the rental contract, so equity may be built up for as long as you want, and used for the purchase of a retail instrument at any time. We also accept proven equity earned through other rental agencies. Rental equity may be applied up to one year after the close of your account.
RENEWALS/RETURNS:Renewal Notices will be sent out one month before your rental expiration date. Payment is due in advance for the next rental period. Payments received after the due date will be charged a late fee of $10 per month in addition to the rental fee. All returns are to be made before the rental expiration date.
